1 BLURRY PICTURES– The most complaints coming from amateur photographers is that their images have come out blurry. Various ways to solve this issue include using a tripod or a monopod choosing a higher ISO setting for faster shutter speeds or using flash to freeze any movement.

2 LESS IS MORE – When framing and composing our photograph, we want to create something interesting for the eye but at the same time avoid excessive distractions. Normally, one main focal point or area is enough. If you have a focal point in the background and a distraction (like rocks) in the foreground, crop the image by zooming in to avoid the distracting item.

3 LOW RESOLUTION – Shooting at a low resolution may let you to store more images on your memory card, but, using a low resolution setting means that the image quality will suffer, and you won’t be able to print large photographs without noticing the pixels. Buy additional memory cards and take your photos with higher resolution and avoid low quality files.

4 UNDEREXPOSED PICTURES –An underexposed image is one that is too dark because there wasn’t enough light reaching the sensor when the image was taken. If you see on your LCD screen that an image looks too shadowy and underexposed, you can try opening the aperture to allow more light in. You can also adjust the exposure on a DSLR, selecting the ‘+’ to add more light, usually in ½ stop increments.

5 OVEREXPOSED PICTURES– If your photograph is too bright and lacking in detail, then it is overexposed. Overexposure can be particularly bad on bright days or with light colored subjects. To correct for overexposure, you can try underexposing the image by choosing -0.5 or -1 and seeing if more detail has been retained.

Monologue definition 

A monologue is represented in theatre as well as in literature. In literature, a monologue is represented in the form of poems and in theatre, a monologue is a solitary act. In this article, you will learn about a monologue in the theatre. 

In a theatre monologue, an actor presents a single character, most often expressing his or her thoughts to the audience. 

Types of a monologue 

Though, the definition of a monologue is very simple, “speaking alone”, it has various types, depending upon the expressing ways of a monologuist. Following are the types of monologue:- 

Soliloquy:- The most famous example of soliloquy would be the dramas written by Shakespeare where a monologuist gives a speech to himself, assuming there is no one listening to him or her, where the audience will actually be present. In this type of monologue,  a monologuist vocalizes his inner thoughts out loud.  

Dramatic Monologue:- Unlike soliloquy act in a dramatic monologue audience is considered by a monologuist. In this type, a speech is directly given to the audience. One of the most common examples of a dramatic monologue is the monologues performed in TV, theatres and films. 

Internal Monologue:- Internal monologue is often seen in literature as a monologuist expresses his inner thoughts to readers. When the internal type of monologue is represented in the theatre audience witness the character’s thoughts. In TV and films, the monologues are usually spoken by a character behind the screen, the audience being able to hear his or her thoughts.

1. Selection of a monologue!

A monologuist has to express his thoughts to the audience so selecting a monologue is the most important factor. 1 WATCH FILMS CRITICALLY-

If you are interested in becoming a film director, start to use your film viewing experiences as a way to learn about film making. Watch as many films as you can and pay attention to the details.

2 START MAKING SHORT FILMS – To become a director, it is important to get started right away and use any means necessary to make your own films. Get a camera if you don’t already have one. Although a quality camera will help you to produce better quality films. Making short films will force you to start learning the technical aspects of directing.

4 READ OTHER PEOPLE’S SCRIPTS -Reading scripts that other people have written is a good way to practice bringing someone else’s story to life. When you read other people’s scripts, try to think about the details of how you would shoot each scene.

5 Consider going to film school – Film school is great for three things: forced experience, access to crews, and networking. Plenty have made it who did not go to film school, but plenty more have made it who have. You’ll have access to internships, workshops, etc. If you have a project, you can get a crew handed to you and you can network by helping others out, too.

• Understand exactly the kind of villain your character is.

Is your character a sociopath, a psychopath, a person who snapped and became psychotic, or just someone who is plain evil? To know exactly how they would be diagnosed will help you to understand their pathology. Literally do the medical research on the person. People can have flaws they’ve acquired, or the defects can be ingrained in their nature. Know the case study that applies to them and how they are wired.

• Explore the rage.

Let yourself realize how angry they are, so you don’t just play the generic rage of that character and stay on one note. And then find the layers of that rage. When does it come out in the story? Justify what makes them angry and how much power they crave, and how far they are willing to go to act on it. The amount of power they have after can be closely tied to their anger.

• Find their poker face.

Think of all the choices you can make about how they hide their true feelings. Once you show the full dimension of a character’s fury, you have nowhere to go from there. The script will tell you when that explosion will fully erupt and that will usually happen at a climactic point for the character. All the other scenes are spent defending that. That is why you need to find creative ways to not show their wrath.

• Find a great costume and voice for them.

Great actors don’t care if they are unattractive; they care that they are truthful to the character. Don’t let fear hold you back from finding and showing the monster within.

• Find the humanity and humor.

Everyone has a heart, so find your character’s soft spot. Be clear about a specific time in their life where they got their heart broken. That is what makes a character believable. The reality is that psychopaths cry and can feel (mostly for themselves, but it’s still feeling). Someone can commit a heinous crime and still be capable of a certain humanity. It is possible that those two extremes exist in one person. You can give yourself carte blanche looking for how they see the world. Humor is essential, and that can even contribute to making a villain likable—especially in a comedy.

• Watch great villains on TV and in films.

Some have become archetypes. Watch some of your favorite characters and try to enact them. This would be a great way to study. When you find a multidimensional character to play, audiences will relish watching them and they will stay memorable.

• Pinpoint the emotion

Think of what your character might be feeling and find your personal memory that fits well with your character’s experience.

• Connect your emotional memory to current emotions

Bring out internal emotional memories and allow them to surface as your current emotion. In other words, think of something sad, become sad, show sad.

• Exercise your affective memory

Your affective memory needs to be exercised, so practice bringing up these memories and emotions often.

• Know your character

Research as much as you can about the character you are playing. The more you know your character, the more you can find things about yourself to relate to your character.

• Understand method acting

Understand that method acting is the process of using emotional memory to bring out emotions for a character. It is not devoting your everyday life to a character.

• Practice makes perfect

 Practice until it’s so ingrained in you, you don’t have to think about it. It’s not something you can learn overnight, but it will enhance your acting immensely.

• Develop your emotional memory

Develop your emotional or affective memory by trying to think of memories from your past that move you in a certain way, and feeling those past emotions in the present.

• Be true to your emotion

 Commit to the emotion you feel, and don’t try to use exterior symbols to portray it. Let the internal emotion take over the external emotion.

1 Be Relaxed  -The best thing you can learn about movie acting is relaxation. Camera picks up every little thing that you do. It even helps you listen and react to your scene partner. Staying relaxed might seem easy, but when the director is behind schedule and running out of daylight, the pressure falls on you: the actor. So always stay relaxed.

2 Ignorance is bliss -For the rest of a person’s career as a film actor, the camera would be right there. But it has to be ignored. In fact, when the camera is rolling, only you and your scene partner exist. Everyone else disappears. How is it possible as an actor to accomplish this? You hang on to your scene partner’s eyes. The most important facial feature on film. Don’t switch your focus from eye to eye. Instead, pick the eye that’s closest to the camera lens.

3 Check on your habits -The ones which are been referred out here, in particular are the ones that might prove distracting to a director or an audience. It is based on the Marathi novel Rau, Which narrates the story of his second wife and Peshwa Bajirao. The story shows that the Peshwa Bajirao gets married to Kashibai and falls in love with a warrior princess Mastani, after meeting her into war. And they struggled very hard for their love by opposing his whole conservative family instead of having the first wife.
